Full-Mouth Reconstruction Reviews
"Best pain free dentist I have ever met"- E.C. / Facebook / Jun 28, 2019
"I recently was involved in a Bike accident where I sustained many injuries, one of those injuries being my front teeth being knocked out. I was worried, depressed, stressed about finances & in a lot of pain. Luckily after making some calls I was referred to the offices of Dr. Patrick Yoshikane, & I am so fortunate I was. The offices knew my emergency & they were able to fit me in first thing in the morning to make sure I was okay & to fix my issue with my teeth. Upon arrival I was greeted by a wonderful staff who were so attentive, professional, & kind. My injuries were painful, I was upset, hurt & in shock still from the trauma & they did everything they could to make me relaxed, comfortable & at ease. The staff even took time to go over billing options so that I would be able to make it work with my finances which really was amazing to see them go above and beyond to breakdown & explain everything vs most places that just send you home with forms. After meeting with Dr. Yoshikane he reassured me I was in good hands & they were going to help me..... & they did! I left feeling like a new person, able to smile again & feel this burden of depression and stress lifted from shoulders. Every moment spent there was great, each person from their staff was so attentive & caring & answered all my questions, helped me, & made me comfortable. Also their follow up after my appointment has been so impressive & leaving the office I knew I found my new permanent Dentist office. Thank you so much again Dr. Yoshikane & Staff!!! Each of you helped me in my recovery so much & I look forward to seeing you all again & calling your offices my permanent Dentist home."- C.M. / Yelp / Nov 08, 2019
Best Candidates for Full-Mouth Reconstruction
Full-mouth reconstruction may be needed if you've lost some teeth or have many teeth with large fillings that need replacement. You may also have teeth with widespread decay or teeth that are cracked, broken, or badly worn down because of bruxism (persistent teeth grinding). You may have dental ailments or even a hereditary disorder, like ectodermal dysplasia (teeth that never develop), amelogenesis imperfecta (abnormally small teeth), or dentinogenesis imperfecta (stained or translucent teeth), which all require extensive treatment. You might choose to replace older crowns, or just want to enhance your mouth for better comfort or health. In more complex cases, your degraded gums and teeth might have caused a visible facial deformity, like sunken cheeks. Full-mouth reconstruction may revive the whole face once the appropriate amount of teeth are in place.
What To Expect with Full-Mouth Reconstruction
Following a complete examination of your gums, teeth, and bite, Dr. Yoshikane may suggest full-mouth reconstruction. Your personalized treatment program will be created, depending on the condition of your own teeth, gums, TMJ (temporomandibular joints), facial muscles, and dental bite. Dr. Yoshikane will discuss your therapy, sedation options, and his own recommendations in your appointment to make sure your treatment strategy fits your wants and goals. As soon as your treatment program is made, he will discuss exactly what to expect in your full-mouth reconstruction and schedule your appointments. In general, a full-mouth reconstruction will require a few visits to our dental practice. Dr. Yoshikane will schedule your treatments with breaks in between to let you recover until the next step is started.
Full-Mouth Reconstruction Recovery
After every treatment in your full-mouth reconstruction treatment program, Dr. Yoshikane will describe what to expect and how to care for your mouth. He can write a prescription for antibiotics or pain medicine that needs to be filled prior to your procedure. You may experience some swelling or discomfort following certain processes, such as after dental implant placement, that will make it difficult to eat so a soft or liquid food diet may be right for you. After your full-mouth reconstruction is complete, you must keep your restored oral health with good flossing and brushing in your home. Yearly dental examinations and twice-yearly cleanings at Patrick Yoshikane, D.D.S. will also be helpful. Throughout your examinations, Dr. Yoshikane can track the health of your own restorations, natural gums, teeth, and jaw.
Full-Mouth Reconstruction ANTICIPATED COSTS
